As a native Rhode Islander and a proud mother of two beautiful children, I recognize the privilege that I have in my role as an administrative assistant supporting the remarkable educators at the Henry Barnard Laboratory School. To this role, I bring a wealth of both formal education, as well as informal ‘being a parent’ training that prepares you for almost any challenge you face!

I excelled during my undergraduate studies in Retail Marketing and Management from Johnson & Wales University, receiving scholarships and commendations for my academic studies. Using the skills acquired during my Bachelor of Sciences degree, I played a critical role in facilitating the advertising growth of a Rhode Island community-based newspaper. My organizational and support services skills have been further refined during my subsequent position managing the staff, budget/payroll, and logistical operations of an 80-seat excellent dining restaurant. Most recently, my training as a Certified Paraprofessional/Teacher’s Assistant has been invaluable as I begin my role as an administrative assistant at Henry Barnard Laboratory School.

I have a strong track record of success for ensuring successful operations of multiple businesses and am thrilled about the opportunity to apply these skills to the educational environment. I look forward to supporting the vision of the Henry Barnard Laboratory School to “empower the learner with the ability and the desire to pursue lifelong learning.”
